While Dan Dare, The Mekon and Doomlord would, as expected, get top billing in Eagle Annual 1987, one Scream! story would at least make an appearance.   This six page effort is a standalone tale, outside of The Thirteenth Floor’s mammoth run in Eagle and it featured art by Jon Stokes as opposed to the series’ regular artist, the great Jose Ortiz.

It is called Max and The Cat Burglar and is notable for being one of a minority of stories where Max kills, or at least facilitates the death of, one of his victims.

As this volume isn’t likely to be reprinted, we’ve put all the pages down below.
